Our network exists to make thoughtful, local referrals easier. As clinicians and providers, we often struggle to find the right fit for clients — especially across counties. DownEast C.A.R.E. offers a shared space to connect with trusted professionals in our region. Whether you're looking for a trauma-informed therapist, a child psychiatrist, or a bilingual provider, you’ll find direct connections and up-to-date information here. Let’s make getting help smoother for everyone.
Resource Sharing
We’re stronger when we pool our knowledge. This section is dedicated to sharing tools, handouts, service directories, and community-based support options. Have a great intake form template? Know of a helpful support group in Pamlico County? Need a list of sliding-scale providers? This is your place to give and receive. Members can upload resources, browse recommendations, and stay on top of what’s available locally.
Information Sharing
We believe in learning from each other — and lifting up the community through accessible education. DownEast C.A.R.E. hosts peer-led talks, skill shares, and public workshops. From ethical billing discussions to trauma-informed care refreshers, we welcome local voices and lived expertise. Have a topic you’re passionate about? You might just lead our next lunch-and-learn or community forum.
